Carver Kearney is a man of philosophical temperament who traveled the world at the request of the Army, explored America in his 18 wheeler, purchased 50 acres of land overlooking Lake Pend Oreille in Talache, Idaho, to raise organic apples and share beautiful and delicious impressions with hundreds, is now creating photographs that break patterns of how to see life.
Carver for the most part is a landscape photographer who uses artistic license to digitally enhance his vision of his own photographs just as a painter adds subject or color to his paintings to create mood or drama. He says anyone can get some paint and paint a picture or take a photo and play with it in Photoshop, but the end results and the audience will ultimately determine their level of talent. He says that so far he has received for the most part favorable applause. However, he states, he would do it anyway just for the joy of it.
Carver has been invited by Seasons in Sandpoint, a new condominium complex on the shore of Lake Pend Oreille, to participate in the Artists’ Studio Tour. They offered for the occasion one of their beautiful residences where he will show for two week-ends. Come and discover his unique vision of photography while experiencing the elegance of the Seasons in Sandpoint.
