JOANNE HEAVILAND

A self-taught photographer, Joanne has an eye for composition, color and uniqueness in her photos. Since becoming a resident of Sandpoint, Idaho, Joanne finds much inspiration in the scenery and wildlife of the Pacific Northwest. She photographs the special places in Sandpoint such as the mountains, the lake, trains, flowers and wildlife that are exclusive to this area. Photography became a hobby that through practice and patience became an inspiration and a way of expressing herself. Many of Joanne’s photographs are mounted on canvas which gives them an exceptional quality.
