MARIE-DOMINIQUE VERDIER

French-born Marie-Dominique Verdier presents photos which "hit Home" and span the globe. From "New Orleans Walls" and Hungarian back-streets, to "Alleys of Sandpoint", Verdier utilizes her gift for seeing subtle, oft-overlooked relationships between people and places, light and shadow, and blasts of color in her collections, books, exhibits and photo-essays.

She has had photographs published in local and national magazines in France and in the United States, and is as at home taking pictures of "street" people, as she is of celebrities, such as legendary musician Fats Domino and Saints Quarterback Drew Brees.
